A Charity Gala to End Whatever Important Thing
New York City high society had been absolutely buzzing over this April's charity gala by a certain Mr. Tony Stark. It was seen as exclusive, or as exclusive as his 200 person guest list could be. Some invitations were a given, like Tony's daughter Alexa, whereas others came from what the party planners figured as the right people to make the party memorable or talked about.
The charity event was for the charitable arm of Stark Inc., Stark International. Despite being for charity, it was also seen as a good way for businesses to be seen and network.
The event was held at the Hudson in the Library and Private Park space. It would comfortably fit the people into its 2,600 Square Feet.

"I know how it goes in this city but, really, don't anyone try to be a hero here. It'll go badly for the regular ol' Joes if you do." Gobby said.
"In fact...I'll be leaving now. I think my friends are having their fun elsewhere and this party's a drag." he said as the glider began to hover backwards from the direction he came.
Truth was, the Goblin realized that close-quarters against these people would doom him quicker than a protracted fight above the city streets. Playing to one's strengths was the mark of a true genius, after all.

"Science is my thing, not just armor. But we should get Joe out of here. You wanna carry him, Remi?"

He reached over to the unconscious man with an invisible shield. Carefully, he used to shield to slide under Joe and lift him up. The Atlantean glanced toward the floating green menace but decided that he was more use civilians than in the battle.

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!" Green Goblin yelled.

The flash-bang is mostly for disorientation, enough to create some distance between the Goblin and the Kree-Olympian hybrid.
"You DARE strike me! You will pay for this insult, harlot!"
no subject
"Hey! I'm the only person allowed to insult Roxie like that!"

"All...of you freaks...you lose..." the Goblin said as his voice box suddenly shut down.
A red number "10" appeared in each of his eyes.
The numbers began counting down slowly as an audible beep...beep...beep could be heard coming from the Green Goblin.

Then, without giving it a second thought, she grabbed the Goblin, tore him from the webbing and flew out and away, taking him with her. She was going to throw him far, far into the night sky, where hopefully the explosion wouldn't hurt anyone.

"Well. Did not see that coming."

The force rattles a few windows, breaking some, but Roxie is able to tell immediately that said bomb was extremely powerful, probably enough to have destroyed the city block that the gala was in.
Someone wasn't playing around tonight.

He thanked Remi for the save and looked around for Roxie.
"Hey, has anyone seen my date? Please tell me she didn't take that guy and throw him into the harbor."
