Rest and Recovery at the X-Mansion
Alisa groaned as she finally came to. She was out of her tactical suit and in a hospital gown, a sign she was in a medical facility, no doubt. She hissed as she tried to sit herself up, feeling some stitches in her side from where she was stabbed starting to tug just slightly. She also noted a lack of feeling in her right leg, right below the knee. She threw her blankets off, noting her leg was in a cast, and there were some scars on her right thigh as well. This just made her frown, before looking around the room and seeing Alisatire was in a bed next to her.
"Oh no... Boss. You did get injured!? I am so sorry... I shoulda done bettah, I failed you..."

She stopped dead when she was Alistair. "...Who let you up?"

I say we see how good of an omelette this guy makes." Kayla's smirk turned into a giant grin. "I mean, it's probably gonna be his last meal." She was joking, but she was pretty sure that Rachel was not far away.

Though food sounded good. "Can you just make mine ham and cheese? I don't like cooked peppers."

She noticed the little twirl of the blade, though. "You like having an audience, don't you?"

One move outta line, bub. One move.
"All flash, no substance, I'm guessin'."

"It's cool though, I mean really I'd cut myself if I tried something like that." She put the items up on the counter, snagging an ice pop from the freezer, hey more sugar just what every frosty mutant needs right!

Once the work with knives is over, Alistaire's cooking seems fairly average, if well-practiced. No unnecessary movements or wasted scraps of food. He's incredibly focused, by his standards, which looks only half a note above passive for most people.

That annoyed Kayla. Making food was supposed to be about sharing. But this guy- he just struck her as cold and detached.

"Yeah, why not," she said.

So yeah. No, you're not a danger to any of us. So omelette away."

I'm not a monster, or some mustache-twirling villain... I'm a businessman, who likes to have a good time when not trapped behind a desk and a computer screen.
Right now? I'm just a gentleman fixing something to eat for myself and my employee; and for you, since this is your home and you haven't seen fit to drag me back to that horizontal prison cell your Mrs Ramsey calls an infirmary bed."

Though he had violated the school cook's kitchen. Even with Hana's assistant in the room with him, she knew if the kitchen were left a mess, there would be painful shadowy moments. Rachel would rather get Selene's lapdog and his bodyguard out of the mansion sooner rather than later.
Now, Ray appeared in the doorway and casually leaned against the frame. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and looked none-too-pleased or impressed. "For someone claiming to know the value of hospitality, you are very bad at not trespassing on the hospitality of others. You will, Alistaire, be cleaning this kitchen after your done cooking. I'll have your bodyguard sent her meal while I supervise."

She managed to suppress a massive grin, though, because that would've just been mean. Though he hadn't made a huge mess, Kayla was pretty sure he'd be doing as much cleaning as Rachel could find for him to do. And there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it.

Okay so might be because she tracks in mud from outside, but she's been doing better about it!
