Murderworld 2012
The sound of spotlights coming on could be heard, and the darkness that had embraced the people within the room had disappeared. Instead, they were on what looked like an elaborate stage... something out of a reality TV show like the Bachelor. As if things could not get stranger, a large, 65" LED TV came to life, showing a young woman in a white jacket, green shirt, and a horrible yellow and orange polka dot tie.
"Ah! Our lovely contestants have woken up! Welcome, welcome one and all to Murderworld 2012!" The neuro-implants in the sides of her eyes began to glow a bright green in color, and her face had a large smile upon it. "These contestants were carefully selected to take part in the most fun, and dangerous version of Murderworld yet! Winners get to live, if we have any winners, that is. And the losers? Well, they get to die horribly painful and elaborate deaths!"

Re: Cowboy World
She enlarged, resuming her normal shape. "Okay," she said, pulling open the box. "Show me the money."
Re: Cowboy World
Under that paper were newspaper clippings with sick smiley faces draw on them. One of the people who had these implants danced off the George Washington State Bridge, the other had slaughtered their entire family before ending their own life, and a third had jumped off the Empire State Building. Each article spoke of how none of these people showed signs of suicide or homicide before committing such acts. The only thing they had in common were that they were rich, had enemies, and wore the implants made by "Tech-Sync Industries".
Just as Mary was taking in all this information, the vault to the bank slammed shut. It locked automatically, and water began to rush into the vault.
"Awww... no cheating!" "Arcade's" voice came over a loudspeaker. "Looks like that pesky 5th player tipped you off to something! I cannot have that! Let's see you try and get out of this one!
There was a hysterical laughter for a bit, before it cut out, and Mary was left with that bank vault that started to flood at a swift pace.
Re: Cowboy World
When the water started pouring in, she reached down and scooped up a handful, tasting it. She was susceptible to poisons, to a certain extent, of course, but she needed to take the risk here...
Fresh water. Okay. So that told her what kinds of shapes she could take if she had to. For now, she settled for forming a set of gills, forming a membrane over her eyes, and webbing her hands.
Re: Cowboy World
But if Mary got a chance to see, the boxes the piranhas came out of revealed a structure on the other side of the vault, meaning the wall of boxes was actually a weak point in the structure of the vault!
Re: Cowboy World
Green blood filled the water, making it harder to see.
She winced again, forcing herself to concentrate past the pain. She pulled some of her mass from her arm, along with the bones and nerves, and let the piranha bite through it, biting her lip to keep from screaming. But it gave them all a big chunk of meat to eat.
While they were distracted, she squeezed herself through the open box, away from them.
Re: Cowboy World
"Cowboy World" was written on the world behind her and "Space World" was written on the one in front of her. She appeared to be in a narrow hallway, outside of her Murder World part, and perhaps in the main system? Where-ever she was, she was safe... for now.
Re: Cowboy World
"Well," she said quietly, "this has been a day full of surprises."
