Murderworld 2012

The sound of spotlights coming on could be heard, and the darkness that had embraced the people within the room had disappeared. Instead, they were on what looked like an elaborate stage... something out of a reality TV show like the Bachelor. As if things could not get stranger, a large, 65" LED TV came to life, showing a young woman in a white jacket, green shirt, and a horrible yellow and orange polka dot tie.

"Ah! Our lovely contestants have woken up! Welcome, welcome one and all to Murderworld 2012!" The neuro-implants in the sides of her eyes began to glow a bright green in color, and her face had a large smile upon it. "These contestants were carefully selected to take part in the most fun, and dangerous version of Murderworld yet! Winners get to live, if we have any winners, that is. And the losers? Well, they get to die horribly painful and elaborate deaths!"

She paused, the player in hand. She didn't even know the man, but wanted to deck him for Alisa. Shaking her head she tried the key to the collar, no use dragging that weight around. scooping up the rest of the stuff she stood at the door a moment, wishing she had her bike again, because screaming down the halls on it would be better than dealing with trying to avoid being bitten right?

The zombies were still moving at a painfully slow pace, and the Brood was still trying to escape the room Mira had trapped them in. A good twenty feet away was a sign outside of a door that said "Bathroom". She was close to getting out of here!

But like everyone else in Murderworld, Mira would have to act fast! The Brood finally broke the door down to the lab she had trapped them in, and started to advance on her, crushing some of the zombies in their path.

She saw the few get stepped on and bolted for the bathroom doors praying they weren't locked. She probably added that she'd start going to church on Sundays if it would help as she neared the door.

The bathroom was not locked and Mira made it in time! As soon as she got in, the door sealed shut behind her. Now all she had to do was hit the kill switch and she was out of there!

She leaned against the door for a moment to catch her breath, making a mental note to start working out more with her team before she moved to find the switch listening for the countdown.

She found it hitting the switch clutching the tape recorder close as she did. It was probably something important.

The automatons of the zombies and Brood collapsed on the floor, no longer moving. They were no longer active or a threat. The mirrors by Mira parted, showing a doorway that lead to a hall. The words "Cowboy World" written on the wall in front of her, and "Space World" Written on the wall where she was coming out of.
