The Blackbird was about fifteen minutes out from Cape Citadel. Supposedly, Topher's boyfriend was going to meet the rest of them there.

Rose, meanwhile, was working up a fight plan in her head. It mostly involved slicing.

"So... we got a nutjub who thinks she's the second comin' of Magneto, somebody encoachin' on Little Miss Hellfire's trademarks, and a bunch of other flamin' nuts. What's the game plan, Summers?"

The turtle pushed his density increase to its limit. He fought to keep his 14,200 lb body going forward. His momentum carried him right into heavyweight. He tried hard to get his swords around her and not into her on impact.

And he hit with a mighty "UNRRF!"

His jaw felt a bit too heavy to say anything more eloquent.

If she'd just been fighting the Turtle, he'd have bounced off her frame and that would have been that. But with Topher catching her by surprise, taking her footing down, she fell backwards under the blow, hitting the ground with a massive thud and cracking her head on the concrete.

"ugh..."

And then she passed out.

Topher gazed down at the buff woman. Then, gingerly, he reached down and lifted her helmet off of her head.

Trophy time!

He grinned at D'Arty. "Thanks for the save, man. I'm not sure how I was going to survive that."

D'Artagnan went down with Heavyweight. As they headed toward the ground, he rapidly put his density back to normal. He coughed a bit before he rolled off the large woman.

"It is what boon companions do, no?" He checked himself quickly. As he patted himself, he realized he didn't have his swords in hand. He grimaced and went to pull them out of the ground where they had stuck in on either side of Heavyweight.

"No, it is what they do," Topher replied, watching D'Artagnan pull his swords back. He turned to survey the other fighting that was going on. "And it seems as though us boon companions are going to have to do some more fighting to end this craziness."
