The Blackbird was about fifteen minutes out from Cape Citadel. Supposedly, Topher's boyfriend was going to meet the rest of them there.

Rose, meanwhile, was working up a fight plan in her head. It mostly involved slicing.

"So... we got a nutjub who thinks she's the second comin' of Magneto, somebody encoachin' on Little Miss Hellfire's trademarks, and a bunch of other flamin' nuts. What's the game plan, Summers?"

The red hot turtle had been staggered away from the shield when a catgirl had decided to use him for a stepping stone. He left scorch marks as he got steady on his feet.

Athos ignored where Magneta had been and scowled at Chris. Not that anything but a narrowing of his eyes showed beyond his red half-mask.

"I think we should all be making a statement." Chris says, pointing at where Magneta was. "We friggin' saved the day and sent her running scared. It's about time people started knowing we're the good guys."

She gives a slight nod to Athos as she catches the look.

"You wanna stay, you have good luck with that, Kit-Cat," Rose said. "Me, I'm not exactly comfortable with guys pointin' guns at me."

She looked over at Topher. "Whatta we do, Summers?"
