The Devil Made Him Do It
The eight foot tall Hulk wandered the streets, not really knowing where it was. Its heavy footfall sometimes making things shake just a little. Most people and things gave it a wide berth. Those that didn't got growled at; then they gave it an entire sidewalk to itself.
It wasn't sure where it was going. It had just destroyed the building that had captured it. Or destroyed the building over the mad doctor's lab who had captured it. Either way, there was rubble behind the Hulk, on its shoulders, and in its hair.
It walked down the street, looking around. It was trying to figure out where it could go to have some peace. To get away from the doctor it had left behind in the rubble.

Well. Pretty confident.
He nudged Aether closer and the horse whinnied at Jay.

"I've got Sara on the way. I think she can help."
Yes. He just admitted he needed to call on his girlfriend for help. His girlfriend was a)awesome and b) probably powerful enough to nuke the western hemisphere.

Once that was done, he started moving innocents out of the way. He was currently going to be useless towards helping the others stop Jay, considering that Nicky was operating at a third of his usual strength and that Jay seemed to be operating at more than his usual strength.
"That time of the month," he joked weakly. "Gamma radiation and teenage hormones are a bad match."

She spotted Bruce first. She knew his energy signature well, and that cosmic power meant he glowed like a star. She smiled for a moment, before getting back to business.
The double infrared signature next to Bruce had to be Marcus and Aether, unless there was another flying horse in NYC. Sara couldn't see magical energy, so they looked like an ordinary man and horse. Except for the flying, of course.
She looked down and saw Jay immediately. He looked like a simmering green nuclear furnace, occasionally flaring out like a sunspot. She held up her hand and let off a few quick strobe pulses to let Bruce know she was there, then she circled down behind Jay and hovered about 50 feet in the air, hands outstretched, concentrating on drawing off as much of that gamma radiation as she could.
Her eyes glowed green.

The Hulk snatched its hand back. It growled and bared its teeth. It was not liking this new trick by Dr. Green. It had to be Dr. Green, the Hulk could feel itself start to weaken. He was here. It just had no idea where the nefarious doctor was.
"I'll kill you, Green. YOU'RE DEAD." Though the Hulk had no idea where the evil doctor was hiding. It just knew it had to get out of there. It turned more toward Nicky, which was away from the horse. Then it leapt. Not at Nicky but upward to get some distance to get away.

He looked over at Sara. "You all right, babe?"

"I'm fine. Not so charged up I can't draw some more off of him when he lands again."

Okay... She wasn't expecting to come up on Jay jumping over Nicky... in her direction.
"Take it got back at the wrong moment," She threw the bike down skidding with it, just in case she wasn't going to make it riding under not-so-jolly-green.

And then she caught Nicky out of the corner of her eye before springing off Jay's back onto the ground and yelling, "Nicky! Being a red-head in a red suit is eye searing enough. Don't make me wear gay-glow orange in my new costume!"

It landed in someone's bathroom. It struggled with a shower curtain that wrapped around its head. "Rrr."

Bruce zoomed in closer. He really didn't want to have to the force bubble around the head trick. But if he had to...
"Nicky! Get him out of there!"

Sara muttered at Marcus's back. She looked at Bruce.
"If I can get in closer, I can draw it off a little faster." She frowned. "I could also send a focused microwave pulse into his head, that would set off a seizure.." Or worse. A lot worse in someone who wasn't gamma enhanced. "...but I don't want to hurt him unless we've got no choice. This isn't his fault."
no subject
...How he was going to get him out of there, though, with one broken wrist, Nicky had no clue.

The Hulk didn't notice the teenage girl behind it. The girl was not a threat or a goon for Dr. Green.
Nicky, however, had already attacked the Hulk and cemented in its rage-filled mind that he worked for Dr. Green along with most of the other Avengers present. The Hulk grabbed the claw-footed cast iron bathtub behind it. One easy yank and the tub came free.
The Hulk threw the tub at Nicky to get him out of the way. It followed up that with jumping out of the bathroom and toward a small park.

Nicky felt a few ribs crack.
Heard them, too.
This fight, he thought, as he went sailing out of the apartment, could have gone a lot better.
The last thing he noticed before he blacked out was the girl in the Red Sonja t-shirt running far away from the building.

It really was sort of dealing with a child at the moment. A three year old who was fixated on horses. "Too bad I didn't bring my little pony dolls." She muttered before turning around and hoping to see Bruce. He was head honcho. He had to know how this teamwork thing went, right?
"Yo, boss-man! We need our groovy night as his beautiful horse. Trust me on this."

Ultimately, he dug his heels into Aether's flanks and followed after Jay. A park was a good location. Hopefully not many people were out having picnics.

"Come on Nicky," She tore off one of the gloves reaching over to check his pulse. She was wishing the bike was a little more than a power suit now because an x-ray would be helpful.

The Hulk just wanted to be left alone and not hunted.
