It's The Eye of the Camera ((New Mutants))
Aiden notified the gals that Val was coming to help out with getting the base rid of Mojo-sent cameras. Then he drove off to New York to go pick up Valeria. He made sure to ask her what she wanted to eat. The least he could do for her help was cook her a good meal. He had feeling he would be more useful in the kitchen than in tracking down the cameras.
When he pulled into the garage, he had a blonde super-genius with him.
"Tah dah," he announced to no one in particular.

Then she turned to the other girls, another round of hugs given. It felt odd... it felt good. "I've missed you guys too! It's been... weird. I've been living with Franklin for the last few months."

"I'm saving Val from puppy slobber. She's on her own on the Zip squeezes." Rather than let Cedric feel totally stymied, Aiden held the Scottie out to sniff, lick, and wiggle in Caroline's general direction.

"Oh no, anything but the puppy slobber!"

She knelt to give the robot a tight hug, awkward as it was, and kissed the the top of the robot's head, blinking back tears. "Puppies and robots and cameras, oh my!"
Then a frown graced her features, "But it sounds like I should start doing a computer scanner in here."

The Mojoworlder leaned sideways a bit to watch what his dog was doing. Then he looked from Cedric to Caroline.
"Just remember, that doesn't count as washing your hands before supper. Or so I've been told. Loudly," Aiden shared the nugget of advice as sagely as possible. Though he doubted Caroline would have figured it worked as washing.
He glanced at Val and Zip and grinned. "You have five assistants and one mascot to help out. Tell us what to do."

She paused to consider. "Right now, I'd save things on my computer if I were you. That'd be helpful in case if the EMP swipe goes wrong. If you guys haven't moved it, I know there's a shield we can use for our equipment. That's probably secondary."

The dog got too wiggly under his arm, and the Mojoworlder set the dog down.

About 20 minutes later she was ready, computer set up and back up programs for the house safely secured. Now she just had to wait for the others to join her when they were ready.

"Reportin' for duty, Cap'n Val." He would not salute, however. He was a ninja, not a pirate.

She pauses, looking at the laptop and then the home before her. The blonde of the former home of Casa De Blonde scooted back just a little more and nodded. "Everything is off, the wiring I have might get knocked off line but I don't think we should really worry about that. It's just the wires that run the wave. If this doesn't work I might have to stick around longer."

"Nooooo, it's not."
She'd like Val to stay a while too, but she'd prefer to have her staying in their nice, surveillance-free home.
