The Blackbird was about fifteen minutes out from Cape Citadel. Supposedly, Topher's boyfriend was going to meet the rest of them there.

Rose, meanwhile, was working up a fight plan in her head. It mostly involved slicing.

"So... we got a nutjub who thinks she's the second comin' of Magneto, somebody encoachin' on Little Miss Hellfire's trademarks, and a bunch of other flamin' nuts. What's the game plan, Summers?"

An orange blur with tinges of black and pink lunges at the Witch from behind, claws out.. Chris had taken a long loop around, using feline grace to make a quiet approach.

That, the Red Witch hadn't seen coming.

She yelled as her circle of power dropped.

For a moment, at least. She couldn't very well concentrate on two savage, bestial women, but she could easily alternate between the two.

Here, Chris. Have a bubble of scalding hot water erupt around you. Cats love water, don't they?

Rose hit the ground in a crouch, letting a feral growl escape her lips. Her fingernails extended into claws again and charged and slashed.

Water's not a problem. She's not a housecat, after all.

But the fact that it's scalding hot? That's rather uncomfortable. Chris has to pull back, snarling and taking cover. She's better at sneak attacks than the raging frontal assault that Rose's family specializes in.

Padded hands and feet creep around, waiting for the Witch's focus to turn back on Rose. This time, it'll be bigger.

This...was not a good situation to be in.

Alexia's eyes flitted about, looking for her sister. Some help here would have been wonderful.

It was while she was busy searching for her sister that Rose's attack hit her.

Hard.

Red Witch yelled out in pain.

Rose was still seeing red, so her next slash was more aggresive than it should have been.

There's a faint rustle, then the ground practically shakes as Chris charges, transforming as she does. A massive paw-swipe comes laterally at the Witch, capable of sending her flying back to Oz.

Both of them together? Red Witch had been in worse situations before.

She whirled around, swishing her cape around her. A forcefield of electricity shot up around her.

Let the animals be shocked.

Rose slashed again, connecting with the electric forcefield. Every hair on her body stood up and she cried out in animalistic pain.

There is much the same effect on Chris, although her size lessens some of it. The lunge turns into a tail over head tumble in the same original direction at the Witch.

Red Witch increases the strength of the electricity field.

The animal part of Rose's mind is fast becoming the one in charge. And pain? Ain't nothing to pain. Even with her flesh burning and charring, she was pushing her way through the electric field.

Chris, now fully transformed and towering over Rose and the Witch, lands on her feet.

She roars. Just... roars. There's nothing even remotely human in the sound, as she advances on the Witch slowly, ears back and nostrils flaring.

Red Witch's eyes dart edbetween the two of them. She was not sure which of the two beast-women was the more dangerous one.

Finally, she turned all of her attention upon Chris - she was the bigger one, after all - and swapped all of the electricity she'd been channeling for a protective bubble around Chris. Well, protective from the outside. From the inside, Chris would find that the oxygen in the bubble was draining. Fast.

Rose. It's definitely Rose. And she'll fight anyone who says otherwise.

Even with burnt skin regrowing, she's got enough together (or suffused under red rage, it might be a bit of both), to slash at the Witch while she's distracted.

Something is clearly missing from Chris' brain once the giant cat registers what is happening. It begins thrashing wildly, shoving paws against the force-field and rolling around in a panic on the ground, regardless of whoever might be in the way.

Rose gets to the Red Witch before she can turn her attention back to her. Alexia lets out a scream as Rose's attack hits home.

Rose raised a hand, claws extended, for another swipe, little trace of humanity in her eyes.
