I'm Setting Booty Traps.
In the desert outside of Sedona, Arizona a large, metallic structure appeared after an evening of strange lights swooping and whirling around in the skies. A couple locals went into the one story structure to check it out. Their truck was still sitting outside of the strange building a day later. The police were called in. The local sheriff didn't trust the federal government, but he knew superheroes could probably handle whatever this thing was.
He put in a call to the Future Foundation. Then he sat back and waited. Also, he kept an eye on making sure no one else did something dumb like go into that thing like Larry and Daryl.

"Uh. What was that?"

He rapped his knuckles lightly against the wall where the door had been. He got back the solid sound of metal. He was getting a sinking feeling.

"We have a problem." Way to state the obvious.

He waited until she'd stepped aside and then lowered a shoulder to charge the door, battering ram-style.

Alexa, being on the other side of the wall, was not affected the floor starting to rise and tilt toward toward the opening the redhead just went through.
To make matters even more interesting, the wall Jacob just tried to ram through started to move forward. It moved at a slow yet relentless pace and would smash anyone who stayed in the room.
On the outside, the pair of blondes would be treated to the sounds of nothing coming from the giant metal structure in the desert.

"I take it that didn't work so well."

He pauses a beat. No one is running yet?
"RUN!" And he runs!

"We're gonna have to find another way out. There's no way we're getting back through that way."
no subject
"Ryan, check around the sides for openings. I'll check up top."
With that, Remi was airborne and scouting out the roof for an opening, a seam to tear, or any other way to get inside.

He started with the area where he was sure the door had been, and then started moving counter-clockwise.
There had to be a way in somehow, right?

What followed happened all at once.
The metal facade on the walls fell away, revealing massive glass panels with bright orange gas that detected as hydrogen cyanide mixed with other deadly chemicals.
The thin metal plates on the ceiling above them pulled into the walls to reveal a thin membrane of glass. The glass was supporting glowing, light blue goo that detected as highly acidic.
The blocked doorway turned into a large panel giving read-outs on the various systems ready to trip if anyone tried to leave the room. Though there was a head-sized spot where the Imaginauts could peer through to the other room.
If they looked, they would see control panels had raised out of the floor and the door back outside reopened.

"This is.... QUICK! What do we have in our pockets?"

And then there was a door back where it was supposed to be.
"What in Davy Jones' locker?" Sometimes the nautical slipped out. He stepped over to the doorway and stuck his head in.
"And where'd everybody go?"

Oh yes and a light saber. A small one.

His brother who often lost battles with simple machines like toasters...
Yeah, they were so screwed.

He blinked at the ceiling where Mary's voice seemed to be piped through a speaker. He stepped fully into the building.
"Mary? Imaginauts, where are you?" From Remi's position, he couldn't see the small window in the wall across the room.
no subject
"Uh. Remi?" Ryan walked over to the tiny little window and saw Mary and Jacob staring back at him.
He grinned and waved at them, excitedly. "I found them!"
