Regrouping thoughts(Open)
It wasn't really that big of a deal that she was still figuring stuff out, right? Of course she was having some problems with her folks again which was really nothing new. She was used to them going between being okay parents and jerk-faces. That was fine she could deal with that. She knew just what buttons to press when it came to them.
Se still realizes that she needs to do something about her powers. Her fighting skills in her mind are to be mocked so hard. She's going to shape up when it comes to that because damn it she's a Sterling. Sterlings don't let things like this slide.
Only she has no idea how to start. Working on her powers or something else? She chews on her lip in thought while pacing around one of the living room areas trying to figure that out. She had way too much to work on if she wanted to even think of staying because she really didn't like the idea of putting people at risk.
That couldn't happen. No way. She'd just figure this out somehow.

He was not particularly paying attention to where he was going outside of toward his room.

Erin was still pacing and about to go find some coffee when she totally face plants then splutters. She's wearing very nice clothing but obviously meant to keep her from getting chilly. A very nice sweater, with a warm looking skirt that went to her knees, boots, and thick dark stockings.
"Geezs. Sorry Jay." She's embarrassed and at least this time she hasn't knocked herself over.

"I... uhm. It's okay. Wasn't watching where I was going."
no subject
"Ah... neither was I."
So freaking awkward.
no subject
"Well, uh..." He glanced around. How did he get going on to his room without sounding like a jerk?
no subject
"Um.... Yeah. You should.... change or something and I uh...." Should learn to talk more?
"I'm going to go get coffee."
no subject
"All right. Have fun." He shook his head a bit and started toward his room.

She stops herself half way down the hall peering back at him. "Do you want anything?"
no subject
He scratched his cheek idly as he tried to get his sluggish mind to speed up.

Oh god she's blushing.
"I'll be in there anyways. I don't mind. Really."
She's not looking. Not looking. Not looking at the nice chest.
God she's a dork and a spazz.
no subject
"Nah. I'm good. I'll gather some fruit later. Thanks for asking."

She has got to stop blushing. Reacting like that has her feeling so silly. She knows better than to let her feelings get away from her like that.

It couldn't be his fly was down because these shorts didn't have one.

"It's.... I've never had to cook before. Coffee I can do just fine and a latte is just a kind of coffee."
Oh she is so babbling.
no subject
"Don't worry about it. Don't go to any trouble for me." Also, he could get Jarvis to do it for him later.

Big important difference? No one else is there to see her be a dork.
