Valentine's Day ((Open))
It was February 14th. And all across New York (and a little bit of New Jersey) superheroes had to deal with someone somewhere wanting them to:

For Marcus she gets him a chocolate shield. She thought he would be entertained.
For Sammy? Well Erin was entertained by this idea so she has someone hand craft a Desert Eagle out of chocolate. The chocolatier was even entertained enough to do golden wrapping.
Bruce got a chocolate Captain America shield and a note thanking him for his help.
Kitty gets chocolate covered expresso beans.
Jay gets a high end box of chocolates.
Vincent gets a eight inch tall chocolate wizard's staff and a note hoping he's having a good day.
Tony gets five pounds of really good coffee.
Erin thought she got everyone then remembered Susan and Nicky.
Susan gets a chocolate bow and arrow set. Also offers to find a good place to eat should she ask Nicky out.
Nicky gets three chocolate covered apples.
Erin herself? She has no plans for the day. She decides to go riding on one of her horses away from everything.

He must be more out of it than he'd even realized, if Erin was apparently interested in him and he hadn't even noticed.
Hm.

Jay has her convinced she is a bit unnoticeable by nice boys. The guys at Rushmore aren't what she'd think of as "nice" certainly. She knows that very well.

"I have B-action movies, popcorn, pizza, and soda," she said with a grin. "I'll be very sad if you turn me away and I have to watch movies and stuff my face by my lonesome."

"Gaah!" He flailed an arm to smack the volume down on his radio. "Becky! Uh, hi!"
He blinked a little. He completely did not expect a visitor. Especially since the other Stooges still had their girlfriends. Jay smiled like he hadn't screamed like a girl.
"C'mon in."

Though with what time they had, Rachel put up nigh-impenetrable telepathic shields. Because she was at least that considerate to the rest of the school to not have to witness any of it.

Getting things together for the day had been a task. He had gone to a floral shop and used some of his charisma to get a lot of help from a florist. And her number without trying. (Which he got rid of once he was out of view of the store.) So, he had a small mixed bouquet in hand when he went to a recommended chocolatier to pick up his custom order of chocolate science tools.
Despite dating what he caught the drift as a woman in line to be one of the richest in the world, Remi was running low on his own money. A considerable amount of what he earned from the Foundation was spent on feeding himself and taking care of his salt water tank. So, he had to be a little more aquatic about how he got her non-perishable gift. He had spent every moment he could trying to find a shipwreck he remembered from his own world. Though without the planet's land masses be rearranged, it took him longer to find it than he liked.
Thankfully, the wreck still existed on this world. He did not find the necklace on the sunken Spanish ship he had hoped for, but he found one that was suitable.
The last thing was the card. He spent an inordinate amount of time on finding the one worded just right. While Alexa had dropped the l-bomb on him, he had not been quite sure it was genuine. Especially since it sort of came out like a forced reason to not have her father kill him with orbital lasers. The Atlantean prince did feel something for Alexa, but he was extremely uncertain what it was. He had never felt anything like it. He did not want to put the wrong word to it.
Love was very loaded to him. If he said it, he needed to really mean it. Though his inner musings were jumbled, he just needed to make sure he did this Valentine's Day in a relationship thing correctly. He settled on a card saying 'Be Mine.'

The card, however, was a surprise. She had it sitting on her lap as she waited for him to show up.

He hoped.
"Bonzou, mo copine!" He tried for an easy grin. Though he wasn't sure his nerves would let him.

And what a great week it was going to be. Pete was taking the week off too. She had sent a personal note to Alastaire to thank him for that--and for watching the kids until the 15th. It wasn't very often that she was able to get four solid days of alone time with her husband.

Happy Birthday.

A special package was delivered to Alexa at the FF Pier. It contained a mother and child necklace and a dozen roses. It was delivered via Tony's sailing yacht which moored off the Pier and was available for whenever she and Remi felt like sailing.
Misha received an enormous delivery. The shell and a few random parts of a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda arrived on a truck along with a note that read:
Hurry up. I have a meeting in January and I need a chauffeur.
- Tony
PS: Mine is prettier.
A smaller delivery accompanied it with a necklace for Hana and a bike kit for each of their boys.

He'd let her write the thank you notes because he'd be busy keeping Rose, and Dad, off his new project.

What he didn't count on was all the enthusiastic kids and their arts & crafts skills. Each school he left sent him off with bunches of Valentine Cards and candies from his new, tiny fans.
Best. Valentine's. Day. Ever!

But those were the easy parts. The other had been a little trickier, but pretty inspired when she'd actually thought about it. Call it calling in a favor, but hey, it just might work.
She went looking for Aiden.

And breakfast in bed. He and the boys handled that. He gave them each something to carry upstairs, Zack the chocolate cookies, Jeremy the chocolate chip muffin, (because everything else would make a mess if they dropped it), and served their best girl a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and lots of milk.
The mini lecture he gave them during the process had to do with always taking care of your best girl and everything else would work itself out.

In fact, she got not one, but three good looking guys pampering her this morning. Hana greeting them with a dazzling smile and pure delight when they delivered her breakfast. "Wow! You guys have been busy this morning."
